Preparing for baby number 2
To all you moms out there if you read this please leave me a comment. I have had this question on my mind all night long. How do you prepare for baby number 2? How do you prepare your first child? How do you prepare yourself? How do you give the same love and attention you give to your first baby to the second one and keep giving that same love to the first? As I tried to fall asleep last night I realized that I am half way done with this pregnancy and soon will have two wonderful children to care and love for. This is a big responsibility and one I look forward to. I would just like to prepare in some way. Any advice??

Jen I'm still trying to figure it out with having 2. There is no such thing as loving one more child than the other. It's like your heart doubles. You do have to give a ton of attention to the newborn but make sure Jesse feels included. Let him help and hold him. When the baby is sleeping hold and play with Jesse. Hold both of the kids at the same time. When Aaron is home take turns with each of you giving attention to 1 kid each then switch kids after a while. Play with them together.
